The current customer API is namespaced under /v1. Versioning applies to the documented public contract. Internal runtime protocols, storage layouts, service boundaries, and provider integrations are implementation details and are not substitutes for the documented HTTP contract. Breaking public API changes should move through an explicit compatibility/versioning decision rather than silently changing an existing documented operation.
