BYOC means you keep your carrier contract, number ownership, and telecom charges while Leamout supplies the Voice Agent runtime and call-control plane.

Configure connectivity

  1. Create an organization-owned SIP trunk with a descriptive name and the desired inbound/outbound direction.
  2. Add one or more remote SIP endpoints (host, port, transport, direction, priority, and weight).
  3. Configure outbound digest credentials where your provider requires them.
  4. For inbound traffic, enable inbound SIP on the trunk and configure appropriate inbound authentication and/or trusted source CIDRs.
  5. Register your existing phone numbers in Leamout and associate them with the trunk.
  6. Bind inbound phone numbers to ready Voice Agents, or specify the trunk when originating an outbound call.
Use the trunk validation endpoint to inspect whether configuration and endpoint checks pass.
Your carrier or PBX must send inbound signaling to the exact SIP ingress address and security configuration supplied for your Leamout deployment. There is no universal public SIP hostname to hard-code.
